A teenage turkey hunter dressed in camouflage clothing and carrying a hunting knife caused a bit of a stir in Hampton Falls, N.H., when a woman noticed him in the woods near her home.
“Initially the call came in as a man in full camouflage sneaking through the woods with a full face mask,” said police chief Robbie Dirsa.
Turns out the young man was just practicing his turkey calling, but police didn’t learn that until they had handcuffed and searched the teen. The boy was released to his parents after cops determined no crime was committed. He did not get a turkey, Dirsa said.
